UGE developed and built this groundmount solar project in Monson, Maine, its first community solar system in the state. This project marks UGE’s entrance into the Maine solar market, and further establishes UGE as a nationwide community solar developer.
UGE completed this ground-mount project located in a farm field, in partnership with PSI International. The energy produced by this project annually will offset the amount of CO2 produced by 315 cars in one year.
UGE provided comprehensive design and project management services for two portfolios of utility scale dual-axis tracker solar farms. For each of the 23 project locations UGE performed energy yield analyses, project engineering and design services, e-house design and procurement, and regulatory and permitting consultation.
This project, completed in 2014, will offset over 900 tons of CO2 each year, the equivalent of eliminating ~900,000 pounds of coal burned.
