We're looking for several kinds of clean energy partners in New York:
Solar Project Hosts: If you have vacant land (10+ acres), a commercial rooftop (30,000+ square feet), or a parking lot (30,000+ square feet), you could become our next community solar project host. You’ll earn long-term lease income while adding clean renewable energy to the grid.
Battery Storage Hosts: To earn long-term lease income as a battery project host, all you need is 7,000 – 15,000 square feet of land in a commercial or industrial zone. Battery storage projects are a vital part of the clean energy transition, helping to ensure we have electricity when the sun isn’t shining or the wind isn’t blowing.
Corporate Energy Off-Takers: If your company or organization would like to save on energy costs while reducing its carbon footprint, becoming a community solar off-taker or entering into a power purchase agreement with UGE is the solution.
If you’re interested in any of the above, just fill out the form above and we’ll get the conversation started!

Community solar projects, also known as solar farms, solar gardens, solar parks, or solar fields, are areas of land, commercial rooftops, or carport canopies containing interconnected solar panels that harvest large amounts of solar energy at once. Solar farms are designed for mid- to large-scale solar energy generation that feeds directly into the grid, as opposed to individual solar panels that usually power a single home or building.
Community solar projects are hosted by property owners on their land, commercial rooftops, or above parking lots. Individuals, organizations, and corporations can then ‘subscribe’ to the community solar project and save at least 10% on electricity costs. For hosts, community solar has no cost – in fact, the host actually earns money through the long-term lease payments they receive in exchange for hosting the project. Hosts also have the option to subscribe to the solar farm and like other subscribers and save on their electricity bills.
